With the release of his highly anticipated debut, Asleep In The Bread Aisle, hitting stores on April 20, XXL freshman alumnus Asher Roth has announced a string a tour dates along the East Coast.

Starting on Saturday (April 18) the “I Love College” rapper will be hitting the Wescott Theatre in Syracuse, N.Y. followed by his official album release party on 4/20 in The Note in West Chester, Pennsylvania, near Asher’s hometown of Morrisville, PA. The show is a free concert being hosted by MySpace.

A day later, Ash Roth will be coming to the big apple to play the Blender Theatre with Star Trak act Chester French, who AR linked with for “As I Em,” a cut off the album where he addresses the Eminem comparisons.

On 4/22 Roth will head back to PA to play Philly’s World Café Live and on the following day he will be at Rutgers in Camden, N.J. He will also be making stops at the Sante Fe Café in the University of Maryland on April 24 as well as an appearance at the Bamboozled Music Festival in East Rutherford, N.J. on May 2 with rockers Fall Out Boy, Third Eye Blind and Cobra Starship, among others.

Roth, whose album recently leaked online, as XXLMag.com reported earlier today, will also be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 28.
