While many people abuse the right to have a gun, others use it as a means of protection. In a recent interview with Huffington Post, Rick Ross spoke on a myriad of issues pertaining to possible increases in minimum wage, women in the workforce, and more notably, having the right to bare arms.

In the minute long clip, Ross validated his support for the amendment by detailing that he himself, is a licensed carrier.

"I support the right to bear arms. I do. I'm a licensed carrier," said Ross.

While he does support the law, he explained the importance of leaving your firearm inside, in hopes of preventing any trouble or potential danger in a public setting.

"But as far as if I go into the public places and I go out, I believe it's best to leave your firearm in your vehicle," said Ross.

If you recall, last year, Ross was involved in drive-by shooting in Florida, in which later it was revealed that he had a semi-automatic Smith &  Wessun handgun in his possession. The rapper made it out fine with no injuries. This resulted in the rapper beefing up his security.
