Jim Jones was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a traffic violation in Teaneck, N.J. on Monday morning (April 6), reports the Associated Press.

The Dipset Capo was stopped initially for an equipment violation, upon which police discovered his outstanding warrant from nearby Paterson. He was then taken into custody, with Jones detailing the minor ordeal through his Twitter account, writing, “I’m in the precinct but I still have my phone. They ain’t trippin’. They said just procedure.” Jones was then released after posting $120 bail.

The arrest marks a tough week for Jones, as his highly touted third album, Pray IV Reign, returned a sales tally of only 42,820 units moved according to last week’s SoundScan numbers. - Devin Chanda
