Update: Freekey Zekey Associate Commits Suicide As Cops Close In On Him

730 Dips rapper King Tut killed himself last night (March 17) after police caught up with him in upstate New York, according to the Associated Press.

Authorities have been pursuing the Freekey Zekey associate ever since they named him as the prime suspect in a stabbing incident in New Jersey last month.

Police say the 23-year-old MC, who hails from North Carolina, was under close watch once they found out he was staying at a Greenburg, N.Y. motel. According to Police Lieutenant Chris McNernhy they pulled over a taxi cab that he was in asked everyone to exit the vehicle. Tut apparently refused and then shot himself in the head as the cops got closer to the vehicle.

As XXLMag.com previously reported Tut was arrested on drug charges on February 10th. Three days later, after being released on $25,000 bail, authorities believe he stabbed a woman seven times in her apartment. – Elan Mancini
