The New York Post has confirmed that MTV will be dropping 50 Cent's reality show, "50 Cent: The Money And The Power,” due to its low ratings.

Despite Fif’s claims that his show was doing great, it seems as if Donald Trump’s calculations were more on point. As XXLmag.com previously reported the multi-millionaire said that “The Money And The Power” will fail, because it was a rip off of his TV series “The Apprentice.”

While 50’s program was cancelled, MTV has plans for 16 new reality shows to premiere on the network.

This setback isn’t the only blow the Queens-bred rapper has felt recently. His new album Before I Self Destruct, which was supposed to drop this month, was surprisingly pushed back to 2009. – Elan Mancini
