50 Cent has filed court papers in Long Island, New York against the mother of his son, Shaniqua Tompkins. The rapper alleges Tompkins has defamed him with comments suggesting the G-Unit leader was behind the fire that burned down her mansion last month. The home was at the center of a dispute between the pair; 50 recently threatened to evict her if she didn't pay the monthly tab on the home, which he owned. "There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods," a legal rep for Fif explained. He also claims Tompkins has not let him see his son since the incident and refuses to reveal where mother and child are living. [NY Daily News]

Queen Latifah filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in New York claiming she has not been paid for her role in the movie "The Perfect Holiday." The film starred Terrence Howard and Gabrielle Union, with Latifah making a cameo as "Mrs. Christmas." The 2007 flick grossed $5.8 million last year. [E!]
