Four witnesses have come forward and made statements supporting a man’s assertion that Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulted him at a post-Oscar party in Hollywood last February. According to the Associated Press, depositions taken from the witnesses claim that the Bad Boy mogul struck real estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer unprovoked in front of Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel following an argument over the man’s girlfriend. "I just kind of remember seeing him go flying, not flying as in like feet off the ground, but he went back significantly," said Marianna Ruiz, a woman who was with Rechnitzer at the hotel during the incident. "I was just in shock that somebody would…just kind of strike somebody out of nowhere." Another witness, Michael Sherman, claims that Rechnitzer was knocked into a taxi that he was standing in front of at the time. An attorney for Rechnitzer submitted the testimony last Wednesday as part of a civil suit the man has filed against Diddy. In July, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office declined to file charges against the mogul, citing “insufficient evidence.”
