The sweet career of this Sugary sybil would make any video vixen green-apple sour.

Dual personalities have been accepted in hip-hop for quite some time now. Though, from Shock G and Humpty Hump to T.I. and T.I.P., it’s usually the rappers that we witness fighting the internal struggle. Today, this psychotic trend has spread to the culture’s modeling scene. Take 24-year-old Black and Italian icy Delicia. Not only does the Virginia native embrace both her egos, she equally credits the two for her flourishing career as an accomplished model and sprouting actress.

The Peter Parker part of her personality is the businesswoman/hustler in her––“the go-getter”—the one who negotiated her career’s upgrade from background video model, to leading star in visuals for Twista and Pharrell’s “That Girl” (she rocks the blonde wig) and Kanye’s “Stronger” (she’s the frantic nurse), to cinematic co-star next to Laurence Fishburne, Wilmer Valderrama and Taye Diggs in the early ’08 box office release Days of Wrath. “When I say it, I do it,” says the crème-complexioned Delicia. “I said I was gonna move from VA and get to Miami. Now I’ve done numerous magazine shoots, videos and films, and it only took me two years. I said I was gonna graduate with a one-year-old, and I did and went to college. Today I have a high-rise [apartment], and my son is in private school.”

Now, the Mr. Hyde side of her Shredded Wheat is the “bad bitch”—the free-spirited, fearless freak who spits 16s, is blind in the face of obstacles and is “a straight-up beast” inside the bedroom (a visual of her alter ego is tattooed on her supple bum). Her snapshots turn men on only after she’s turned herself on midshoot––the secret to her photographic success. Once unleashed, there’s not much that can stop her, not even hip-hop video stigmas. “They’re stereotyping us [models] because we’ve done videos, especially in the urban market,” she laments. “You gonna tell me that because I’ve done videos or magazines, and maybe my butt is showing a little bit, that I can’t do film? Get outta here! I’ma show y’all.”

But Delicia isn’t blaming any mistress turned author for the misconstruction toward her profession. Being a model that confidently wears her high sex and goal-devouring drive allows her to understand all hustlers––soiled past and all. “Everyone knows there are Superheads all over the world,” she says. “She can be Superhead, but nobody’s gonna look at me like that, because I don’t carry myself like that. Hoeing is a hustle. But that’s her thing, so I’m not knocking her hustle.”

Today, Delicia and her bad bitch have even larger goals to achieve––individually and collectively. BB is ready to devour Tinseltown and, maybe, one day fuck on the roof of a Lamborghini in the pouring rain. D, on the other hand, is determined to never have her son struggle like she did and, maybe, one day chop it up with Bill Gates. Collectively they wanna be the millennium generation’s J-Lo––modeling, music and, most importantly, acting. And who’s gonna tell her she can’t?
