T.I. Free on $3 Million Bond, Remains Under House Arrest

At a hearing this afternoon, T.I. was finally freed on $3 million bond while he awaits his weapons trial, according to the Associated Press. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman said the rapper must remain under house arrest and will be monitored 24 hours a day by a private monitoring service that he is paying for. Upon his release, the judge reportedly said, "You shouldn't do anything that will undermine their ability to represent you." If convicted, Tip could face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count.
