Don Q is kicking off a 10-part freestyle series called "Best Verses" by tackling Rich The Kid and Kendrick Lamar's latest collaboration, "New Freezer."

Rapping over the Ben Jayne-produced beat, the Highbridge spitter delivers the kind of bars he's become known for. "I wore a rope, it came with a piece since they wanna lynch 'em/I played the post, I sold every piece, the junkie's commission/You knew the money was tempting, using and selling become an addiction," he raps.

In August, Don Q dropped his Corner Stories Reloaded project. A new version of Corner Stories, the re-leased project includes features from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, PnB Rock, Fabolous, Loso Loaded, Zoey Dollaz, as well as a new song with GS9's Rowdy Rebel.

In 2017, XXL caught up with Don Q and asked him about his style. While the rapper agrees that there are influences of Jadakiss and Styles P in him, he says his sound is unique.

"I’ve been listening to them for so long you can hear it in the music," he said of The LOX rappers. "It rubbed off. [My sound] is raw and unique. It’s hard to really find anyone that’s spitting like me. It doesn’t come by too often, people are going to have to really appreciate what I’m doing right now."
